CIRCUS – rethinking urban space live at 3daysofdesign

During 3daysofdesign 2025, we proudly launched CIRCUS – a brand new product family that invites people to STAY, MEET, ACT & GO GREEN. Presented at BLOX in Copenhagen, the CIRCUS installation brought colour, motion and life into the public space, drawing in designers, planners, passersby – and plenty of curious kids. It offered a first glimpse of a new way to think about urban furniture - modular, social, and sustainable.

The bench, reinvented

CIRCUS rethinks the classic bench. Where traditional seating often stands in rigid lines, only allowing one direction of interaction, CIRCUS breaks that convention. Instead, it offers a dynamic, circular and modular meeting space that can be configured in countless ways – stacked, connected, rotated – to create resting zones, social hubs, or playful landscapes full of life and movement.

Soft shapes and bold colours invite curiosity and interaction. In this way, CIRCUS becomes an urban stage, where people, sounds, and motion blend together in spontaneous moments of community. Whether you’re pausing with a coffee, meeting friends, or watching kids climb and play – CIRCUS becomes part of the rhythm of the city.

The reaction during 3daysofdesign was overwhelming – from curious children playing on the elements to architects and city planners engaging with the concept. Visitors described CIRCUS as “joyful”, “unexpected”, and “exactly what cities need more of”
