The creative process

We take a progressive approach to designing urban furnishing, whether we’re dealing with new forms, new materials, new uses or new methods of technological integration. We work with designers and architects to create new products through 3 processes:

Urban space projects
We work on specific urban space assignments with architects/landscape architects to design tailor made products. These products may subsequently be promoted into new standard products. Roughly 25% of our new products are created through this process.


Design brief
We use our product strategy to outline a design brief to call for proposals from either a few architects/designers or from a broader range of bidders. Roughly 50% of our new products are created this way.


Product proposals
Architects/designers send us unsolicited product proposals. If they coincide with our taste and needs we may develop them into new products. Roughly 25% of our new products are created through this process

Wi draw up royalty-based contracts with our external partners, so any commercial success has the potential to provide a significant income for the designers involved.
