ORB Sea is a luminous underwater element reacting to the sounds of the city. ORB Sea is a family of water lights that respond to their surroundings like groups of marine life. Each individual element dives between the surface and the bottom to send out an inciting glow of light patterns throughout the colour spectrum. ORB Sea can also cast light downwards to provide a glimpse of underwater life.

ORB Sea is the result of URBANBOTICS; a 2-year Danish design- and development-project executed by artists’ group Live Art Installations, out-sider and set designer Simon Witzansky with the support of the Center for Cultural and Experience Economy (CKO). Read more about UrbanBotics at www.urbanbotics.dk and the CKO at www.cko.dk.
7 x ORB Sea were launched as a pilot project in the autumn of 2012 in the Toldboden area of Copenhagen. Additional experimental projects are underway.

Design: Live Art Installation and out-sider.
