Karen Blixens square is an impressive prestige project within architecture, design and innovative solutions in Denmark and in out-siders, we are incredibly proud to have played a significant role in the project. In collaboration with HSM Industri, we have designed unique bicycle racks that offer as many as 2100 new parking spaces at Karen Blixens square.

The illuminated bicycle bollards in the square are specially designed for the square, but the inspiration comes from the racks at Nørreport Station, where the light source “Point Sun” is also installed. We are proud to be part of another major project in Copenhagen’s cityscape

The bicycle racks are not only functional, they are also part of an urban landscape in the square. They are located under hilltops that create small elevations and give a unique, visual aesthetic to the square with space for 1500 bicycles under cover and another 600 under the open sky
