Maintenance-free bench for urban spaces

Plateau Plinth, with its slim design and organic, rounded forms, creates a pleasing contrast in the often square urban structures and spaces. The 2,8 meter long seat provides plenty of seating space where people could either sit together in groups or separated at each end of the table

More space, more possibilities

The plinth can seat 5-6 persons and is suitable for all age groups. To enhance the experience, 1 or 2 side tables can be attached at each end. This setting makes it more convenient to enjoy a quick meal or a coffee.

Plateau Plinth is available in 6 different colors, offering numerous possibilities to customize the bench to fit the surroundings in schools, urban spaces, or parks.

The PLATEAU family is constructed using compact laminate and hot-dip galvanized steel – strong materials that require no maintenance and ensure a long life

Made from 65% surplus wood from Norwegian sawmills.

Holscher Design is one of Scandinavia’s most recognized, and award-winning design studios, with more than 25 years of experience. out-sider’s collaboration with Holscher Design began with a competition concerning the development of a radical new picnic table for public spaces, and Holscher’s winning proposal – PLATEAU – was chosen. The design has iconic and graphic qualities, while being a coherent, innovative piece of furniture with many seats – inviting people to interact with each other. Holscher’s intention was to create a product family, and it now counts 13 urban pieces of furniture.
