Maintenance-free wall bench for urban spaces

The Plateau Wall Bench is an extension of the Plateau Bench. Its slim, organic, and rounded design, with a 2,8 meter long seat, comfortably accommodates 5-6 persons and facilitates group seating at both ends of the bench. For added functionality, 1 or 2 side tables can be mounted at each end

More space, more opportunities

The wall mounted version can be used for both aesthetic and functional reasons, especially when ground installation is not feasible or optimal, or when there is a desire for easy cleaning underneath the bench.

Plateau Wall Bench is available in 6 different colors, providing numerous options to tailor the bench to its surroundings in schools, urban spaces, or parks.

The PLATEAU family is constructed using compact laminate and hot-dip galvanized steel – strong materials that require no maintenance and ensure a long life

Material: Robust seat/table, multi-layered and dyed 12mm compact laminate in 6 colours. Highly UV- and weather-resistant.
Frame: Hot galvanized steel. Dimensions: L2750 x W720 x H495mm.
Side-table: ø270mm compact laminate seat and ø42mm tube in hot galvanized steel.
Seats 5-6 persons.
Fixation: Mounted on the wall, hole size Ø13mm.

Material
Seat and backrest: 2.8m, Robust, multi-layer and coloured 12mm compact laminate in 6 colours. Very UV and weather-resistant and solid mechanical quality and durability.
Frame: hot-dip galvanized steel. Disc: glass-blown stainless steel. Can be delivered with a customer-specified name/logo or other.
Side table: ø270mm high-pressure laminate as seat/back and ø42mm tube as the frame.

Dimensions
L2750 x W720 x H495mm.
Seating: 5-6 people.

Assembly
Supplied partially mounted: HPL and steel frames are pre-assembled, and the wall frame + steel discs are not mounted.
Mounted on the wall, hole size Ø13mm.

Variants
HPL + frame is available as a variant in other colours.

Accessories
Side table: ø270mm, 1 or 2 side tables, side table and armrests in one, can be mounted in 2 positions – bolts and nuts included.

Holscher Design is one of Scandinavia’s most recognized, and award-winning design studios, with more than 25 years of experience. out-sider’s collaboration with Holscher Design began with a competition concerning the development of a radical new picnic table for public spaces, and Holscher’s winning proposal – PLATEAU – was chosen. The design has iconic and graphic qualities, while being a coherent, innovative piece of furniture with many seats – inviting people to interact with each other. Holscher’s intention was to create a product family, and it now counts 13 urban pieces of furniture.
